New site is running in test mode

So far, so good. I have migrated 1 static site, 1 experimental site (www.AirBaboon.com), and they all run nicely on the new servers. I then set up one of the domains that has been registered for eQSL.cc but is rarely used by anyone for that purpose, (www.QSLCard.com) onto the new servers for testing. It works well, and indeed is much, much faster! I will be doing most of my testing under this domain name, and when everything is looking good, will erase everything that was done there and migrate the other domain names over as well. Might be within a week or so.

  1. I did fine an issue using qslcard.com on the new server I figured I'd let you know. On the left side nav where you can enter a call sign and click the binoculars to do a search, it returns a 500 error.

    Error Occurred While Processing Request
    Variable DBDSN is undefined.

Enable Robust Exception Information to provide greater detail about the source of errors. In the Administrator, click Debugging & Logging > Debug Output Settings, and select the Robust Exception Information option.
Check the ColdFusion documentation to verify that you are using the correct syntax.
Search the Knowledge Base to find a solution to your problem.
    Browser Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.70 Safari/533.4

  2. Also the forums don't appear to be configured/setup yet. Connection fails going to http://www.qslcard.com/Forums/index.cfm

I ran the power user report at http://www.qslcard/qslcard/PowerUsers.cfm and it shows it will take between 2 & 3 mins. I timed it and it took 3.5 mins on the new server. You might want to look at that query. I ran it on the live prod server and it took exactly 2 mins. I re-ran the report on the new servers and it came back immediately the 2nd time so I am guessing it actually didn't re-run the query.

Also that power user generated report references http://www.qslcard.com/Graphics/RegularMember-Small.gif which is missing

Performance is excellent but I imagine there's no load on qslcard.com at this time.

  3. That image is also broken on the live site.
